What is the Mines game and how does it work?
Mines is a popular crash-style online game where hidden bombs (💣) and gems (💎) are scattered across a grid. Players reveal tiles one by one — each gem discovered increases the multiplier. Clicking a bomb loses everything, but cashing out at the right moment secures a big win.
In the vs678 Mines game, players can choose the grid size and the number of bombs themselves. The more bombs there are, the higher the risk — but the potential multiplier climbs higher too. This control is what sets Mines apart from other games.
Minefield — A Sample Grid
The grid below is an example of a 5×5 Mines board. Green tiles contain gems, red tiles contain bombs. Navigate the right path to grow your multiplier and cash out at the right time.
* For illustration purposes only — in the actual game, bomb positions are randomised

|---|---|---|---|
